Maybe that's one of the reasons he's started to look at other brands as well. Talking to both Canon and Nikon people broadens the audience, generating more traffic and revenue. And maybe even increases his inflluence as a multiple-brand review site will be seen as more credible. As to why he's so influential I believe it has a lot to do with his direct recommendations and the volume of information on his site. He's obviously tested a lot of equipment. I for one cannot understand how people can take anything he says as being unbiased when his site has so many fingers (links) in other pies...
